About
Alan Chaulet
Disabled Entrepreneur, DMD Advocate, Public Speaker, and Disability Consultant.
My Story
I'm Alan Chaulet—a disabled entrepreneur who believes that anyone can be an entrepreneur. I have dreamt of being an entrepreneur since middle school and have pursued this since college with All Wheels Up, a research and advocacy organization dedicated to making a wheelchair spot on airplanes and air travel more accessible for everyone, and several other ventures, and Debates Now, a video platform for organized civil debates that create a sense of community and don't destroy friendships
Over the years, I've become a Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy advocate and public speaker speaking to pharma companies about the importance of DMD research and advocacy, aspiring entrepreneur trying to build the next great company, and disability consultant using my knowledge to help others be more independent and successful.
Whether I'm speaking to pharma companies, encouraging others with DMD to advocate for themselves, teaching financial independence to people with disabilities, or trying to build companies, I always strive to make the world better and more accessible for everyone.
What I Do
Consulting
Helping individuals with and without disabilities and organizations understand the importance of patient advocacy, accessibility, assistive technology, disabled entrepreneurship, and financial independence. For instance, I help people the disability community understand technology out there to help them be more independent and how to be financial independent with tools like ABLE Accounts.
Speaking
Sharing insights from the course of my life, lessons I've learned, the importance of disabled entrepreneurship, and the power of patient advocacy.
Advocacy
Publishing through my Substack newsletter, informing others about disability news and policy through my social media, educating DMD patients about the latest treatments and research.
Building
Creating and advising companies from disabled founders
